As I walked out of Lexi and Neal’s wedding at the end of the night, I remember thinking to myself that I just photographed one of the best days of their life. I could just feel it. These two were impeccable with their planning, but when the wedding day actually came, I have never seen two people be carefree and have so much fun as they did on their wedding day. Grateful to document their wedding for them is an understatement. I was so happy to be there witnessing some amazing moments. The coolest thing was it threatened rain all day long. The skies were dark and it rumbled some thunder during the ceremony, and tiny sprinkles started to fall as we were doing family photos. But that was it. The weather was cooler for August, and just when we thought the sun would never come out…..it did for the last 5 minutes of the day. We were outside in perfect timing to capture their sunset and I was just so happy for nature’s gift. My favorite moments of their wedding day included Lexi’s first look with her dad, all the flowers in bloom that day in bay harbor, both moms practicing their floss in the morning, my girl anna by my side second shooting with me, and let’s not forget their incredible band. I mean this band had people on the dance floor before dinner! And stayed packed all night long. Even during dinner people were still dancing in their seats and holding up candles. It was stellar. And Neal getting up on stage singing to his new wife. It was all so wonderful. I hope you enjoy some of my favorite highlights below!!
