Where do I even begin with this wedding? The beauty that surrounds us everyday should never be taken for granted. Mother nature is a gift to us, and each state brings a myriad of treasures. When Laura and Craig asked us to come to Aspen, Coloardo to document their wedding at Maroon Bells, I was so incredibly honored. Little did I know actually being there in person would leave me speechless. Laura and Craig are two amazing souls. I literally smiled the entire time I shot this wedding as well as editing it. These two make each other so happy. Their love radiates in every image, and I am so grateful to have been there to document such an incredibly beautiful day. Some of my favorite moments of the day included the vows that Laura and Craig read to each other, the backdrop of the ceremony and first dance, the small and intimate feel surrounded by very close family and friends, the food, and the rainstorm. Yep…even the rainstorm we got caught in. In the mountains you are up so high that lightning strikes at your eye level. It was sunny one minute, and started pouring the next right in the middle of pictures! Haha!! It was an adventure for sure. We ran to the car and slowly drove down the mountain. 20 minutes later it stopped and we pulled off to the side of the road and found another great cliff to take more pictures at. There was so much laughter during this wedding. Both of their families are just gems of people and Chris and I enjoyed every minute. Laura and Craig…thank you from the bottom of our hearts. We miss you both!! XOXO
